Vacancies
We are always excited to hear from talented and enthusiastic Part II, DPhil and postdoctoral candidates interested in computational chemistry. Research in our group is highly multidisciplinary, involving chemistry, catalysis, enzymology and method development. Previous knowledge in the field is an advantage, but not essential. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Fernanda directly. Applications should include a cover letter highlighting your research interests and a full CV. Funded PhD and Postdoctoral positions will be advertised when available.
Postdoctoral Researchers
Postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to apply for their own fellowships. Assistance will be provided to build strong applications. Potential funding sources include:
Marie Curie Actions. Deadline in September.
Royal Society Newton International Fellowship. Deadline in March.
Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science PDRA Fellowship. Deadline in September

Undergraduate and Master students
Part II Projects
These projects are specific to Oxford UGs and involve a wide range of topics. We offer 2-3 places a year. Contact Fernanda to discuss available research areas.
Undergraduate/Master Projects and visiting students
Suitable projects can be arranged for motivated students pursuing a BSc. or MSc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology. For summer placements, students must apply for external scholarships to cover living costs (e.g., RSC, EPSRC). Please contact Fernanda to discuss opportunities.
If you would like to carry out your Master's project with us as a visiting student, please email Fernanda with your CV, a brief statement of your research interests, and arrange an email from your current supervisor supporting your application (this helps expedite the process).
External funding sources for Visiting PhD students: For short visits: HPC Europe, RSC Funds.
